New Life profile sheets are made from the finest quality cold-rolled steel coils, which are coated with protective metallic layers and reinforced with multiple layers of organic coatings. New Life profile sheet can be readily roll-formed, bent, pressed, cut, lock-seamed, and stamped to suit the specific requirements without degrading the quality of the paint.
Roof and wall panels shall be of 26 gauges thick profiled galvalume/GI colour-coated steel sheeting. The standard thickness specification ranging from 0.4mm to 0.6 mm is widely used in the industry.

Standing seam roofing is a type of metal roofing in which metal roof panels or sheets are positioned vertically along the length of the roof. The seams of these panels are interlocked with each other using clips, and this system is also known as a double-lock system. In standing seam roofing, a concealed clip assembly is roll-formed or crimped into the panel seam without any drilling into the sheet. These clips serve two important functions: they secure the panels to the structural system, reducing the need for additional structural fasteners, and they allow the roof to expand and contract in response to changes in external temperature.
Mechanically seamed panels are roll-formed with specific edges that align with each other. Once the two panels are engaged, a hand or mechanical seamer bends the edges and locks them together. These types of sheets are widely used in airports, commercial buildings, and offices to ensure longevity. Currently, industries have also started using them despite their higher initial cost compared to normal sheets, as the long-term maintenance cost of conventional sheets is higher, and the value of the products stored inside these structures often justifies the one-time investment in standing seam sheets.
